What do you use Daylite for?

To organize work orders and manage bee removal service appointments by utilizing Daylite Touch on iPad and iPhones to alert technicians on the road. The process starts with answering the phone or an online form submission that becomes imported into Daylite and delegated out to technicians.

What was the most painful thing about your previous workflow that Daylite has helped to solve?

More efficient workflow of appointments to technicians on the road. Better record keeping with easy searching and organization. Less time on the phone with technicians. No more pen and paper!

With Daylite on your iPhone, you've literally had your business in your pocket. Now, with Daylite on your iPad, what have you been able to further achieve?

The iPad makes it easier for everyone to find out exactly how their day will play out with a much larger and easier to read screen.

How has the iPad revolutionized the way you do business in general (not Daylite specific)?

We can use apps like Google Earth for latitude and longitude or pull up customer addresses to find exactly where the bee problem is located. We can also show customers photos from other bee jobs to help educate them and focus in on our website.

Describe how you use Daylite on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad. In what scenarios do you use each device, and how has the ability to take your business with you improved productivity?

It starts with a phone call or form submission that gets entered on the Mac into Daylite. Bee removal jobs are then delegated out to workers' who are using Daylite on their iPads and iPhones with customer comments, locations, and other important information that help plan out their days while on the road. The technicians can complete more bee removal jobs in a day because of the better organization and planning the iPads and iPhones allow with real time information.

What is your favorite thing about having Daylite on your iPad?

All the information I need to run my business is at my fingertips.
