We completely rebuilt the interface and user interaction from the ground up for Daylite 4.

With Daylite 4 we've greatly improved the user experience of the app, while minimizing the number of clicks required to perform most functions. We've made it easier to learn how to use Daylite, and tweaked the performance so it's faster.

All of this together makes it easier and faster to use Daylite everyday, whether you're just getting started with the app or you've been using it for years. Saving a few minutes here and there is important. It lets you devote more time to doing what you do best – your business.

Home Screen.

The most loved feature of Daylite for iOS comes to the Mac. The home screen in Daylite shows you what's happening today, tomorrow, and for the next 7 days. It'll show you all the appointments, tasks, projects, and sales that you're either working on or have approaching due dates. See what's coming up and know what to focus on, at a glance. 

Activity View.

The new inline Activity view shows you all the recent history of what you're looking at - no more clicking around to see what's happened in the past. It initially shows you the most recent activity, and continues to expand as you scroll down.

Sidebar.

The sidebar has been completely redesigned to be more familiar and functional. Just like in iTunes, you can navigate directly to any list with a few clicks in the new sidebar - without switching between sections.

Improved Calendar.

We're always looking ahead and the calendar is no exception.

Meeting Invitations.

Send and accept meeting invitations to your contacts that use Outlook, Google Calendar, iCal or other calendar systems.*

Share Calendars.

You can subscribe to iCloud, Google, or other CalDAV calendars inside Daylite so you can see your family or personal calendars alongside your work schedule.

You can now choose to see one Daylite calendar or separate calendars in Calendar based on the categories assigned to your appointments in Daylite. [New in 4.1]

Never-ending Calendar.

View your schedule relative to today, not what's happened in the past. Advance the week view by a single day, or advance the month view by a week at a time instead of a whole month. Always look ahead with Daylite's never-ending calendar, no matter what day of the week or month it is.

Objective Calendars.

View tasks with due dates in your calendar and filter the calendar based on a specific project or opportunity.

Better Appointment Linking.

Tasks, notes, and emails can be used to make every meeting more effective. Multiple people can attach notes for crowd-sourced meeting minutes. Create tasks out of that appointment and link them to the next meeting to make sure actionable items are completed before then. Link appointments to specific stages within a pipeline to help manage milestones.

Enhanced Tasks.

We've simplified and enhanced task management at the same time.

The Worklist.

Put tasks in the Worklist that you want to work on now. Focus on what you want to accomplish instead of staring at an overwhelming list of incomplete tasks. Drag tasks around to re-order them based on priority.

Tasks for Pipeline Stages.

You can now link tasks to specific stages of a pipeline for a project or opportunity you're working on. You can define pipelines with preset activities for each stage, or add them as needed at each stage with a single click.

Improved Task Linking.

You can now link tasks to appointments, notes, and emails. For example, you can create a short list of tasks that need to be done before a meeting by linking them to appointments. Or link tasks to notes and emails to provide further details for each task.

Not Done List.

View your Not Done task list to see all your pending tasks, grouped by objective. Easily drag unfiled tasks to an objective, or mark them to be added to the Worklist.

Quickly Add Tasks Using Hotkeys.

Now create tasks more quickly & easily using global hotkeys. While working in other applications, press the New Task hotkey to quickly enter a task in the window then get continue working. [New in 4.1]

Easily print out information that matters to you most directly from Daylite.

Calendar Printing

Calendar printing is back with completely revamped options! Easily print off a monthly, weekly or daily calendar. Adjust text size and page size, choose to view a mini calendar and category legend.

List Printing & Configuration

Need a list of what you need to get done on paper? Easily print out multiple options for tasks: not done, worklist, due today, etc. so you can check off what you've accomplished. Printing layouts can be easily configured to your printer. Numerical information is now summed at the bottom of multi-column lists and forms can be printed on an individual per page basis or printed as a list of multiple forms.

Mailing Options

Create letters & envelopes with your contact information in Daylite, customize mail merges, direct mail marketing campaigns and thank-you follow-ups.
